Le parti travailliste a suspendu le député Geraint Davies dans l’attente d’une enquête sur des informations faisant état d'”allégations incroyablement graves de comportement totalement inacceptable”.
La décision de suspendre administrativement le député de Swansea West signifie qu’il fera retirer le whip à Westminster pendant qu’un examen est effectué.

La décision de Johnson de confirmer publiquement qu’il a remis le matériel – dépouillant le Cabinet Office de l’un de ses moyens de défense – et sa suggestion de le divulguer à l’enquête ont fait monter la pression sur le gouvernement de son successeur.
